It’s summer time, and also the ripe time for delicious fruits! With spring and summer fruits on the market, there are plenty of options! But are these fruits just good for general nutrition? Do not! It turns out that fruits for skin care can be amazing! Come let us get some DIY fruit skin care tips.

Simple DIYs involving fruit for skincare:

1. Pomegranate

Pomegranate contains vitamin C, which helps renew collagen in the skin layer. If you’re one of those girls who likes to have powdered collagen in your coffee, then how about adding plant-based collagen to your skin? Adding pomegranate juice with yogurt, green tea, and honey acts as an enhancing face mask. They not only prevent acne breakouts and help with skin rejuvenation, but also act as anti-aging remedies. Pomegranates are also an excellent source for skin lightening.

2. Papaya

If you are buying alpha hydroxy acid peels from a pharmacy or beauty store, stop buying them. We’re giving you an inside scoop on papaya! A great acid peel solution in your kitchen. While ripe papaya can be a delicious snack, the fruit also contains enzymes that help decrease inflammation! These enzymes can be found in many exfoliating products, which reduce acne by removing dead skin cells that clog pores. Use papaya as a scrub or even a papaya face mask along with honey, curd, and even rosewater!

Our favorite summer fruit, watermelon is more than just a juicy treat! Contains vitamin E, which is a key antioxidant that helps in skin rejuvenation. It also contains vitamin C, which helps brighten your complexion to boost your overall glow. The application of watermelon peels on the skin leaves it with a refreshing and calming sensation. It also helps with hydration. Also, masks can be made from pulp.

4. Melon

These fruits are only getting better! The juicy melon is also a great fruit to leave your skin smooth and glowing. It keeps skin hydrated and is packed with nutrients like vitamins A, B, and C, which keep skin healthy and youthful. As with watermelon, even cantaloupe can be used to moisturize and cool the skin to prevent heat boils and other inflammation.

7. The controversial tomato

Tomato, by balancing whether it is a fruit or a vegetable, surely balances your skin and helps your face glow! Add it with a little oatmeal, which has anti-inflammatory properties. So, if you are facing solar eruptions, it is a good remedy, in the proportion of 1/3 + 1/4 of tomato pulp, and you have an excellent natural exfoliant.
